As the head of finance at our Campus Södertälje, AZ and one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing units, you'll be a key leader in a diverse team that transforms innovative ideas into finished products every minute. Sweden Operations employs 3000 people have an annual OPEX of $600m and CAPEX of $200m and delivers medicines to more than 100 markets around the world. You sit on the local leadership team with accountability to driver productivity and financial performance and you lead a team of high performing Finance Business Partners supporting the various parts of the business.

Accountabilities:

You'll be an integral part of the leadership team supporting the business unit and leaders to drive strategic and tactical direction. You'll develop and drive short and long-term efficiency targets aspiring towards best-in-class performance and evaluate and direct major investment decisions. Your team develop business plans, budgets, and standard costs and influence leaders on the ground. With an independent view on business performance, you'll challenge the business area and leaders to drive positive value outcomes for AstraZeneca. You report to the Regional Finance Director EMEA & Sweden with dotted line to VP Sweden Operations

Essential Skills/Experience:

• +15 years of Experience in financial leadership positions with a focus on Business Partnering

• 10+ years of manufacturing / supply chain Finance experience at local, regional and global levels.

• Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills

• Proven track record of leading large financial units and driving value delivery

• An effective line manager who can also manage matrix relationships and cross-region ways of working

• Fully qualified Finance professional with relevant educational background/qualification

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience of working within the Pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage.
